Independence, OH, October 24, 2013 –(PR.com)– Computer Troubleshooters is proud to be a Champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The goal of this annual awareness program is to inform and educate all levels of our government, the private business sector and the general public about issues of safety and security in the cyber environment.

“We are delighted to be a Champion of this important cause and enthusiastically support the goals of National Cyber Security Awareness Month,” stated Halli Evans, Computer Troubleshooters’ Director of Marketing. “We feel it is our responsibility to educate our clients about online safety for both their businesses and their families.”

National Cyber Security Awareness Month is celebrated every October. Since its inception a decade ago under leadership from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance, this annual event has grown exponentially, reaching consumers, small and medium-size businesses, corporations, educational institutions, and young people across the nation. Cyber security begins with a simple message everyone using the Internet can adopt: STOP. THINK. CONNECT.

As a Champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Computer Troubleshooters shows its support alongside other Champion organizations such as Microsoft, VISA, Intel, U.S. Department of State and the Federal Trade Commission in addition to a number of universities across the country.

Ms. Evans added, “To support the educational purpose of this event, Computer Troubleshooters has been presenting cyber security information via our e-mail campaigns, on our blog and social media postings throughout the month of October.”

Computer Troubleshooters champions the goal of on-line security throughout the year and encourages the public’s participation in National Cyber Security Awareness Month. STOP. THINK. CONNECT.
